Leather welding shield is a piece of personal protection equipment designed to protect the user‘s head,
neck and shoulders during the performance of the processes described below. The user is responsible for
any damage resulting from non-intended use of the device.
The welding shield is a class 1 personal protection equipment item.
It was designed for use during the performance of the following manual processes:
• gas welding;
• TIG welding;
• MIG welding (low current)
• micro plasma welding;
• Brazing
• Spot welding;
• MMA welding (rutile covered electrodes)

And for the working conditions encountered during:
• oxy cutting;
• plasma cutting;
• resistance welding;
• thermal spraying;
• use of table welding equipment.
The product protects the user against short term contact with open flames and reduces spatial
propagation of flames (A1 + A2).
